Obituary of Kyle Jovin Jones

Kyle Jovin Jones, 29, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at his home in Fayetteville North Carolina while surrounded by his family. Born on February 16, 1995, in Augusta, GA, he was the son of Marshall Kelly Jones and Arasheilla Yumul Jones. Kyle was a 2017 honors graduate of The Citadel and was a distinguished US Army Veteran having earned the rank of Captain. Aside from his love for his country, Kyle enjoyed fishing, camping, the outdoors, playing video games, listening to live music, attending concerts, anime, and spending time with his German Shepard Kai’sa. Survivors include his mother and father of Andrews and the Philippines; his girlfriend and partner, Whitney Serauskas of Fayetteville, NC; his sister, Makeilla A. Jones of Andrews; maternal grandparents, Jose P. Yumul and Angelina W. Yumul of San Diego, CA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Calvin M. Jones Sr and Faye R. Jones. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
