Chase Ridgeway, Owner/Funeral Director/Embalmer

Chase is the owner of Ridgeway Funeral Home. He and his wife Amanda founded Ridgeway Funeral Home in March 2015. Chase has been in the funeral industry for the past fourteen years and has proudly spent the past seven years serving Georgetown and the surrounding areas. Chase is a native of Sumter and is a 2003 graduate of Laurence Manning Academy and a 2006 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA. Chase is a National Board Certified Funeral Director and Embalmer and currently holds his South Carolina Limited Life Insurance License. Chase is a deputy coroner with the Georgetown County Coroner's office.

He and his wife Amanda are members of First Baptist Church in Georgetown and they have one daughter, Kennedy Grace Ridgeway. 




Amanda Ridgeway

Amanda is married to Chase Ridgeway and together founded Ridgeway Funeral Home in March 2015. Amanda and Chase, along with their daughter, Kennedy, live in Georgetown. She was raised in Fayetteville, GA and is a 2003 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and a 2007 graduate of Mercer University, where she earned a BBA in marketing. Amanda is a Financial Advisor with Wildes Financial Strategies and currently holds her Series 7 and 66 securities licenses along with her South Carolina Life, Accident and Health Insurance License. Amanda plays a vital role in the operation of Ridgeway Funeral Home and assists on funerals and visitations during her off time.

Amanda and Chase are members of First Baptist Church in Georgetown. 





Pam Shelley, Administrative Assistant

Pam was born and raised in Georgetown. She is a member of Georgetown Church of God and taught at Andrews Christian Academy for many years before beginning a career in the funeral industry four years ago. She is married to Kevin Shelley and they have two daughters, Caroline Shelley and Carson Castor.

Pam enjoys going to the beach and spending time with family.





Kenny Johnson, Funeral Assistant

Kenny Johnson has served as the Georgetown County Coroner for the past twenty years. Kenny also serves at Senior Pastor at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. He is married to Rhonda Johnson and has three children. Kenny is a graduate of Holmes Bible College and Charleston Southern University.





Willie Moore, Funeral Assistant

Willie is a native of Georgetown. He is retired from Verizon and has been working in the funeral industry since 2009. He is a member of First Baptist Church and the Winyah Masonic Lodge #40. He is married to Marie Moore.





Dean Jenkins, Funeral Assistant

Dean is a native of Hendersonville, NC. He retired from Kimberly Clark with thirty-two years of service. He is a graduate of West Henderson High School and Isothermal Community College with a degree in medical technology. He began working in funeral service in 1998.

He and his wife, Debra Walker, live in Pawleys Island and they enjoy camping, fishing, gardening and traveling.





Brandon McConnell, Funeral Assistant

Brandon was born and raised in Georgetown. He is a graduate of Georgetown High School.





Kennedy Ridgeway, Greeter/Public Relations Coordinator

Kennedy is the daughter of Chase and Amanda Ridgeway. She enjoys spending everyday after school at the funeral home with her daddy. Kennedy can be found greeting people at visitations or entertaining people with her infectious personality. She enjoys meeting new people and playing with her dog Sallie.





Sallie, Greeter

Sallie is Kennedy's Labradoodle and can be found running around the funeral home looking for someone to play with. She looks forward to going to the funeral home every morning.
