Obituary of Wayne McConnell
John Wayne McConnell, 56, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023.
Born on July 8, 1967, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Roy Ervin McConnell and the late Joyce Diane Harter McConnell. Mr. McConnell lived life to the fullest and enjoyed surfing, fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys and USC Gamecocks play.
Survivors include one son, Noah Lawrimore and his mother, Angela Lawrimore; one daughter, Destiny McConnell and her mother Mary Barrineau; three brothers, Roy McConnell, Jr. (Pamela Morrison), Joey McConnell (Bridgette) and Scott McConnell (Pamela); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at a later date.
