Obituary of Ralph Paul Edwards

Ralph Paul Edwards, 88, husband of Agnes Biscan Edwards, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on November 14, 1935, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Ralph Washington Edwards and the late Anne Tamosaitis Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge and volunteered with the American Red Cross. Mr. Edwards enjoyed traveling and reading and was a devoted member of Friends of the Library. Survivors include his wife of Pawleys Island; one brother, John Edwards (Ellen); two sisters, Anne McAlister and Maurita Fawls (James); and numerous nieces and nephews who loved and adored him. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Edwards and a brother-in-law, Gerald McAlister. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, July 22, 2024 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. A private burial will take place in the Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.
