Obituary of Donnie Clemmons Michau

Donnie Clemmons “DC” Michau, 78, widower of Sherri Ann Michau, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Sandpiper Post Acute Rehabilitation. Born on March 6, 1945, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Clemmons Michau and the late Lula Roberts Michau. Mr. Michau was a member of First Baptist Church, a US Coast Guard veteran, and was retired from International Paper Company. Mr. Michau was known as a quiet-reserved, “man's man”, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his yard. Survivors include two children, Sabrina Michau Player of Pawleys Island and Derek Lee Michau of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Chryssa Anne Player of Pawleys Island and Ella Brooke Player of Pawleys Island; one sister, Janet Blackmon (Kim) of Georgetown; two brothers, Larry Michau (Libby) of Georgetown and Jimmy Michau (Margie) of Augusta, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ulmer James Michau; and one nephew, Glenn Michau. Services will be private.
