Obituary of William Earl Sanders

William Earl Sanders, 79, husband of Barbara Dianne Marlowe Sanders, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on June 8, 1943, in Horry County, he was a son of the late Henry L. Sanders and the late Annie Mae Todd Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a US Navy veteran and was a member of United Christian Outreach. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and riding his golf cart. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three sons, Bill Sanders, Jr. (Vera) of Georgetown, Travis Sanders (Anna) of Georgetown and Stevie Sanders (Joy) of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Cody Sanders of Georgetown, Dillon Sanders of Murrells Inlet, Tyler Rogerson of Georgetown, Bailey Taylor (Travis) of Georgetown, Brice Sanders of Surfside Beach and Blake Sanders (Ally) of Georgetown; four great grandchildren, William Amerson, Brooklyn Amerson, Sydney Grace Amerson and Aabel Sanders; four brothers, Ronald Sanders (Barbara) of Tampa, FL, Ray Sanders (Peggy) of Biloux, MS, Harvey Sanders (Christine) of Austin, TX and David Sanders (Wendy) of Chapin; one sister, Barbara Copeland (Bill) of Conway; numerous nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Spanky and Peanut. He preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Sanders. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Sunday, November 13, 2022, at United Christian Outreach. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery, Conway, SC. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
