Obituary of David Bruce Lewis

David Bruce Lewis, 47, husband of Ginger Yvette Lewis, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at his home. Born on February 18, 1975, in Marion County, he was a son of Millie Clark Lewis and the late Jerry Wayne Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a member of Gapway Baptist Church in Mullins and was a former member of the Moose Lodge 2628 in Georgetown a former Cub Scout Pack 304 committee chair. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, listening to music and being on the computer. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; mother of Mullins; two children, Miranda Lewis and Dylan Lewis both of Georgetown; one brother, Mitchell Lewis (Dawn) of Mullins; two nieces, April Lewis and Grayson Pope; three nephews, Noah Lewis, Mason Pope and Colt Pope; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nellie and Lewis Pope; and his brother-in-law, Michael Pope (Kelly) of Andrews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Minnie and Henry Clark; and paternal grandparents, Vernease and Lonzo Lewis. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Gapway Baptist Church in Mullins. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
