Obituary of Kathy Y. Lee

Kathy Yankousky Lee, 69, wife of Elbert Carlos Lee, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on March 22, 1953, in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Yankousky and the late Recia Loretta Lambert Yankousky. Mrs. Lee was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a part of the Adult Bible Class. She enjoyed going to Friday night singings and talking with family and friends. Mrs. Lee had a sweet spirit and enjoyed life. Survivors include her husband of Andrews; one step son, Elbert Carlos Lee, II (Rebecca) of Nashville, TN; one brother, Edward Yankousky of Georgetown; one sister, Carol Eaddy (Randy) of Georgetown; a special nephew, Tyler Tilton (Kathrine) of Andrews; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Yankousky. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in the Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church – Family Life Center. Burial will follow in Sandridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Family Life Center.
