Obituary of Margaret O'Quinn Muns

Margaret O’Quinn Muns, 79, wife of James A. “Jim” Muns, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Trident Medical Center. Born on April 20, 1942, in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Winford O’Quinn and the late Mamie Drawdy O’Quinn. Mrs. Muns was a member of First Baptist Church where she served on several committees and was a part of the Samaritans Sunday school class. She retired from International Paper Company after 30 years of service and enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; two sons, Grady Muns (Reiko) of Charleston and Jody Muns (Tina McGuire) of Greenville; two grandchildren, Morgan Muns of Eutawville and Jordan Muns of Clemson; one great grandchild, Gamble Bradshaw; and two nephews, John Bryan and Greg Bryan both of Walterboro. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Bryan. A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, February 19, 2022, at First Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
