Obituary of James David Woodbury, II

James David “Bubba” Woodbury, II, 38, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. Born on May 10, 1983, in Georgetown, he was the son of James David Woodbury, Sr. and Bonnie Gail “BG” Walker Woodbury. Bubba was a member of Ringle Heights Baptist Church, a graduate of Andrews High School and was a machinist. He had a great love for hunting, fishing and spending time with his children. Bubba was a fun-loving person and had a smile and a personality that would light up a room. Survivors include his parents of Andrews; two children, Wyatt Walker Woodbury and Addison Lynn Woodbury both of Georgetown; a sister, Suzanne Woodbury-Rabon of Myrtle Beach; two nephews, Timothy Woodbury Rabon (Hannah) and JD Woodbury Rabon all of Pleasant Hill; a niece Savannah Woodbury Rabon of Myrtle Beach; best friends that he loved like brothers, Marsh Watford (Jennifer) of Oceda and Kyle Gibbons (Suzanne) all of Pawleys Island; three honorary sisters, Sabrina Crosby Walker (Jeremy) of Andrews, Kerri Crosby Lynch (Allan) of Andrews and Angel Crosby Rigopoulos (Jake) of Georgetown; the mother of his children, Lauren Frasier (Ricky) of Georgetown; brother in law, Mac Rabon of Pleasant Hill; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lester and Mildred Woodbury; maternal grandparents, Ben and Ethel Walker; three uncles, Timmy Walker, Arnie Walker and Johnny Timmons; an aunt, Frances Woodbury; and a cousin, William Thomas Walker, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Graves Southern Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Graves Southern Baptist Church, 44 Vine Ct.
