Obituary of Jack Hancock

Jackie Lee “Jack” Hancock, 83, widower of Geneva Creel Hancock, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his home. Born on November 9, 1937, in West Virginia, he was a son of the late John Henry Hancock and the late Velma Nidy Hancock. Mr. Hancock was known for being an excellent mechanic and enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his grandchildren and socializing. Mr. Hancock was a US Navy veteran. Survivors include two children, Paul Hancock (Robin) and Gina Jordan (Dean) all of Georgetown; and five grandchildren, Brittany Carter, Chelsea Hancock, Matthew Hancock, Keith Hancock and Kaylee Hancock; He was preceded in death by a son, John Hancock. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Friday, September 24. 2021 in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
