Obituary of Rena Patricia Joyner Klump

Rena Patricia Joyner Klump, 77, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Prince George Health Care. Born on September 5, 1943, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Walter Ray Joyner and the late Rosa Lee Miller Joyner. Ms. Klump was a member Lakewood Baptist Church and the Sister’s Sunday school class. She was a very caring and quiet person who had a great love for her family and her dog Lucky. Survivors include three children, Dustan Klump (Melissa) of Lexington, Scot Klump (Jennifer) of Crescent City, IL and JR Klump of Frankford, MD; seven grandchildren, Adam, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Sarah, Riley, Jonathan and Sophia; one brother, Walter Ray Joyner, Jr. (Debbie) of Bluffton; three sisters, Betty J. McManus of Sumter, Jackie J. McConnell of Georgetown and Frances J. Teems (Lamar) of Conway; one brother in law, John T. Kelley of Jacksonville, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, David Lee Klump; one sister, Marye Kelley; a special uncle and aunt, Charles and Rena Anderson; and two brothers in law, Harry Laverne McConnell and Clyde McManus. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Lakewood Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Deeter and Rev. Keith Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM at the church. Memorials may be made to Lakewood Baptist Church, 171 Lakewood Ave. Georgetown, SC 29440 or American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
