Obituary of Mabry Allen Miller, Sr

Mabry Allen Miller, Sr, 76, widower of Grace Marie Hartley Miller, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 at his home. Born on October 28, 1943, in Georgetown County, he was a son of the late Henry Walter Miller and the late Stella Owens Miller. Mr. Miller was a member of the Georgetown Church of God and retired from the Georgetown Steel Mill after 32 years of service. He enjoyed singing and most of all spending time with his family. Survivors include three children, Allen Miller (Gail), Steve Miller (Cindy) and Tony Miller all of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Ashley, Sabrina, Brittany, Tiffany, Tabitha, Brook, Destene and Morgan; a special great grandchild, Brileigh Harrison of Georgetown and seven additional great grandchildren; one sister, Reba Bell (Roger) of Georgetown; one brother, Levon Miller (Daisy) of Georgetown; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Brock Miller; one sister, Dottie Foxworth; three brothers, Odell Miller, Doise Miller and Fernie Miller. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Georgetown Church of God with Rev. Deryk Morgan officiating. Entombment will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
