Obituary of Suzanne Hays Brown

Suzanne Walker Hays Brown, 82, widow of Charles Kenneth Brown, II, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at her daughter’s home.

Born on July 13, 1937, in Pittsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick Hays and the late Betty Hutchinson Hale. Mrs. Brown was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Junior Women’s League. She was an avid square dancer and a past president of the Florida Association of Square Dancers. Mrs. Brown enjoyed crafting, puzzles, sewing and watching the Hallmark channel.

Survivors include three children, Denise Forehand (Cameron) of Georgetown, Heidi Rueger (James) of Evansville, IN and Pamela Sherman of West Virginia; six grandchildren, Amanda Taylor, Jacquelynn Sherman, Billie Taylor, Brandon Rueger (Priscilla), Blake Rueger and Caleb Freyer; and one great grandchild, Lincoln Rueger.

She was preceded in death a son, John Richard Sherman.

A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 7, 2019 at First Baptist Church Georgetown with Dr. Ted Sherrill officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
