Obituary of Kenneth Nathan Thompson

Kenneth Nathan Thompson, 58, of Hemingway, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at his home.

Born on April 21, 1961, in Moncks Corner, he was a son of the late James Nathan Thompson and the late Sybil Altman Thompson. Mr. Thompson enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

Survivors include nine children, Jennifer Filyaw, Little Kenny Thompson, Patrick Thompson, Brittany Thompson, Kendra T. Altman, Kelsey Thompson, Buddy Hiers, Winter Thompson and Trey Thompson; 13 grandchildren, Shay Filyaw, Allison Filyaw, Autum Filyaw, Gage Ard, River Ard, Noah Thompson, Willow Thompson, Zack Thompson, Carson Thompson, Keaton Cooper, Kenzie Altman, Wyatt Humphries, Bailee Hiers; one brother, Stacy Thompson; one sister, Susan T. Rogers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Shan Thompson; a grandson, Hunter Wyatt Ard; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 4055 Huggins Road Lake City, SC 29560.
