Obituary of Thomas Dallas Gailey

Thomas Dallas Gailey, 76, husband of Shirley Ann Lambert Gailey, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Roper Hospital.

Born on August 16, 1943, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Thomas Wilton Gailey and the late Lou Doris Turner Gailey. Mr. Gailey was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed reading, cooking, bowling and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; four sons, Dallas Gailey (Brenda) of Jamestown, Charlie Irwin of Gresham, Kerry Terry (Jan) of Conway and Ron Terry (Karen) of Galivants Ferry; three daughters, Tammy Gailey Jones of Honey Hill, Teresa Davis (David) of Andrews and Patricia Ward (Leroy) of Georgetown; 16 grandchildren, Juelya, Patrick, Lauren, Cody, Taylor, Tabitha, Amber, Travis, Erica, Rena, Chuck, John, Kathy, Jr., Amanda and Ron Jr.; 23 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Gailey, Sr. (Naomi) of Georgetown and Jimmy Gailey (Robin) of Andrews; three sisters, Mary Rogerson of Socastee, Annette Ogburn of Georgetown and Nannette Gailey of Lake City; numerous nieces and nephews; and special fur baby, Foxy.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Deuce Matter.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Chris Browder and Rev. Dale Mitchum officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM at the church.
