D CLARKE KESLER posted a condolence
Saturday, December 29, 2018CLARKE KESLER ...a friend....1979 / 1986.... A GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE came to the radio station WJJC ,most every Sunday to be part of the Gospel program... we would go some weekends to sing with "THE ROY KNIGHT SINGERS".... as well as other singing groups of that day...Sherman was with us on most occasions.... we laughed, cut up, had lots of fun , fellowship and good Christian times... Time has a way of separating friends ... but when we would see each other, on those rare occasions.... it was tho we had never parted... true HEART TO HEART FRIENDSHIPS...are that way.... today 12/29/18...my heart was saddened to hear of his moving... to his "BRAND NEW HOME"... "BUT"...SOME DAY..SOON..I WILL WALK INTO "GOD'S CITY.... AND ONCE AGAIN RENEW that friendship...Sherman..I was glad to have you as a friend on this earth....

Friday, December 28, 2018The Standridge/Allen family has suffered so much and has loved greatly. The love and sense of belonging is amazingly evident in the way they care and support one another. Such a blessing to know them and see such love! Joyce, you are the appitamy of a proverbs 31 woman in the way you have cared for your mom, husband, children, grandchildren, neighbors and friends. You have passed that great love and compassion to your children and I know first hand to your amazingly kind hearted, incredibly strong granddaughter Shannon. Words are never enough to express the heart felt condolences one feels during this difficult time. It’s so sad to see such a wonderful Godly man like Sherman leave this earth so soon. He did great work while here, was well loved and will be greatly missed by his amazing family. He has heard the words from the Father, well done by faithful servant, welcome home!”

Thursday, December 27, 2018We were proud to call Sherman and all of the family friends. Sherman was full of life, and laughed often. Alway a joy to be around. We learned to love the entire family. Carter Ann & Olivia, my heart goes out to you. You are both great women of God. I know your dad was proud of you. He was too young to die... but for unknown reasons to us, God had his reasons. He wanted Sherman to come Home. I can see him standing their singing with some of the best singers that are in heaven too. Having a grand old time. Face to face with Jesus (I can only Imagine). A day we are all looking for, but at the same time have loved ones still here because they still have a purpose. So hang in there Carter Ann & Olivia. Days ahead will be hard. But know your Heavenly Father has you on his hands. Lean back and let Him love and comfort you. Love you all Pastor Ossie & Melody Deese
