Obituary of Angela Beth Benton

Angela Beth Benton, 59, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at McLeod Health Hospital.

Born on December 27, 1958, in Georgetown, she was the daughter of Melvin McCullough Benton, Sr. and the late Gertrude Reeves Henning. Ms. Benton attended New Beginnings Church in Hartsville and enjoyed traveling and keeping in touch with her friends.

Survivors include her father of Georgetown; her fiancée, Sean Nolan of Florence; a daughter, April Sunshine Dupree (Grant) of Fuquay Varina, NC; a grandson she affectional called “Pumpkin”, Caleb Grant Dupree of Fuquay Varina; and three brothers, Melvin “Mack” Benton, Jr. of Andrews, Micki Benton of Georgetown and Ricki Benton of Georgetown.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Monday, September 3, 2018 in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens with Rev. Daryl Tanner officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
