Obituary of Grace Hartley Miller

Grace Marie Hartley Miller, 70, wife of Mabry Allen Miller, Sr., passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born on June 5, 1948, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Manning Hartley and the late Katie Ellen Harrell Hartley. Mrs. Miller attended Georgetown Church of God and enjoyed playing BINGO, going fishing and going on cruises.

Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; three children, Allen Miller (Gail), Steve Miller (Cindy) and Tony Miller all of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Ashley, Sabrina, Brittany, Tiffany, Tabitha, Brook, Destené and Morgan; one special great granddaughter she considered a child, Brileigh Harrison of Georgetown; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Sue Poston (Thomas) of Georgetown; one brother, James Hartley of Georgetown; and numerous aunts, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death a son, Brock Miller; a sister, Vernelle Ackerman; and a brother, Junior Hartley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Georgetown Church of God with Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
