Obituary of Francis Harris Allen

Francis Harris Allen, 95, widower of Kathleen Vogel Allen, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at his home.

Born on July 1, 1923, in Washington, DC, he was a son of the late Frank Harris Allen and the late Mary Etta McCarthy Allen. Mr. Allen was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He was a reader and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include four children, Stephen Allen of GA, Lois Allen of Laurel, MD, Wayne Allen (Carol) of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Joan Allen of Laurel, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date out of state.
