Obituary of Dawn Marie Tucker Hoover

Dawn Tucker Hoover, 82, a homemaker, wife, and mother passed away at the Lakes of Litchfield on Monday morning.

Dawn was born in Greensboro, NC to her parents Robert Whitt Tucker and Marie Davis Tucker, now deceased. Dawn was also predeceased in death by her loving husband, John. Dawn is survived by daughter Karen Hoover Thomas, husband Anthony, their son, Blake of Chester, VA; son Mark Christopher Hoover, wife Bertha, their sons, Shannon, James, Scott, Justin, Dominick, Jacob, and Damien of Radford, VA; daughter Susan Hoover Lowenbach, husband Matthew, their daughter, Nina, and son, Noah of Pawleys Island, SC.

Dawn attended Greensboro Women’s College and was a long-time resident of Christiansburg, VA. In earlier years, she enjoyed tennis with John. She was an avid bridge player and took pleasure in traveling the world with John. Dawn is a beloved mother and grandmother.

An 11:00 AM funeral service will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church with a small reception following in the Holsclaw Fellowship Hall at the church.
