Obituary of Gary Bernard Steiner

Gary Bernard Steiner, 70, widower of Linda Gunter Steiner, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama.

Born on October 16, 1946, in Mobile, Alabama, he was the son of the late Ewald Bernard Steiner and the late Idell Carter Steiner. Mr. Steiner was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to church.

Survivors include four children; Angela Steiner Reed (Randy) of Clanton, AL, Gary Edward Steiner (Lilly) of McIntosh, AL, Kenneth Bernard Steiner (Irina) of Mobile, AL and Brandie Steiner Lipscomb (David) of South Bend, IN; nine grandchildren, Kaylyn Lipscomb, Kendall Lipscomb, Keaton Lipscomb, Kori Lipscomb, Konnor Lipscomb, Joshua Reed, Anna Reed, Kristina Shannon and Julia Condit (Shane); three great grandchildren, Rhett McCall, Kya McCall and Aurora Belle Landrum; and two sisters, Cynthia Brooks (Harry) and Pamela Steiner.

He was preceded in death by a step son, Everett Rusty Shannon.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Ringel Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 PM Tuesday at Ringel Heights Baptist Church.
