William Clarence Wall, 69, husband of Lee Ann Gerrich Wall, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021.
Born on September 3, 1952, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late William James Wall, Jr. and the late VonCresia Lewis Wall Johnson. Mr. Wall was a US Airforce veteran and was an accomplished artist and musician. As a musician, Mr. Wall loved to play the guitar and sing, talent that afforded him the opportunity to sing all over Nashville. Along with his love for music, he had a great love for history and enjoyed studying the Bible and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Wall was a true Dale Earnhardt fan and a jack of all trades.
Survivors include his wife of Ridgeway; four children, Amanda Whaley (Pat) of Lugoff, Erin Phillips (Al) of Walhalla, Andrew Shafer (Andrea) of Moore and Megan Kicklighter of Irmo; 12 grandchildren, Alex Wall, Adam Whaley, Addison Whaley, Peyton Whaley, Emilee Phillips, AJ Phillips, Keaton Phillips, Spencer Wall, Grant Wall, Jenna Anderson, Nicholas Anderson and Travis Anderson; a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Wall of Andrews; two brothers, Jimmy Wall (Vivian) and Charles Wall (Diane) all of Georgetown; one niece, Jenna Cox (Matthew) of Nashville; and seven nephews, Scott Wall (Amy) of Andrews, Brian Wall of Georgetown, Will Wall (Natalie) of Conway, Kevin Wall (Nancy) of Georgetown, Josh Wall (Nicole) of Georgetown, Cal Wall of Georgetown and Seth Wall of Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Wall; a son, Nick Wall; a son-in-law, Davie Kicklighter; and a step granddaughter, Laura Anderson.
A graveside service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in the Nesmith Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from Noon – 1 PM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
