Wesley Lewis Wicker

Wesley Lewis Wicker, 89, husband of Reverda Ann Cribb Wicker, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at his home.

Born on December 17, 1934, in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Fredrick Alston Wicker and the late Ida Lewis Capps Wicker. Mr. Wicker was a US Army veteran, a charter member of Herbert Memorial United Methodist Church and was a former youth leader. Mr. Wicker enjoyed sports and found joy in playing golf and bowling. For years, Mr. Wicker was a familiar face as he delivered newspapers throughout the Georgetown area. 

Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, Donna James (Hal) of Georgetown, Debbie Altman (Todd) of Georgetown and Hollie Wicker (Julie) of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Brittany James of Georgetown, Tres James of Dallas, TX, Hunter Lambert (Elliott) of Charleston, Kori Altman of Georgetown, Kendal Wicker of Georgetown and Trevor Wicker of Georgetown; one sister, Glenda W. Cribb of Pawleys Island; and four nieces, Michelle Avant of Myrtle Beach, Lenora Sullivan of Myrtle Beach, Stephanie Eades (Frazer) of Pawleys Island and Denise Eades (William) of St. Louis, MS. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Herbert Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Saturday at the church.
