Wanda Faye Cooper

Wanda Faye Cooper, 58, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at her home. Born on April 8, 1957, in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of David Roy Cooper, Sr. and the late Bobbie Jean Brunson Cooper. Mrs. Cooper was employed with Santee Cooper Winyah Steam Generating Plant. She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed life, living it to the fullest. Survivors include her father of Jamestown; step mother, Glennie Cooper of Jamestown; three children, David Mitchell Chavis, Jr., James Matthew Chavis and Wanda Michelle Chavis all of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Alexis Dale Chavis and James Evan Chavis; one sister, Norma Morris (Kenny) of Jamestown; one brother, David Roy Cooper, Jr. (Jackie) of Jamestown; and three step sisters. She was preceded in death by a special friend, Diedra Hanson. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church.
