Terry Levon Miller

Terry Levon Miller, 70, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 1, 2024, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Born on September 12, 1954, in Georgetown, he was a son of Daisy Lee Miller and the late Levon Miller. Mr. Miller was known for his dedication and commitment to his passions. He enjoyed spending time at a local plantation, where he found great joy in outdoor activities such as shooting guns and fishing. His love for cooking brought friends and family together as he delighted in preparing delicious meals for them, creating memories that will be fondly remembered.

Mr. Miller was a member of Screven Baptist Church, where he proudly served as a deacon. He was an avid sports fan, with a particular passion for the Miami Dolphins the Carolina Gamecocks. Through his love for sports, Mr. Miller was also an enthusiastic coach, dedicating many years to leading youth baseball teams in the community. His enthusiasm for coaching and sports was infectious, and he often shared his love for the game with friends and family.

Survivors include his mother of Georgetown; two children, Lee Miller of Georgetown; Jessica Windham (Andy) of Lamar; two grandchildren, Joshua Windham and Jayden Windham; one sister, Lori Nease (Chip); three nieces, Kati LePhew (Chad) of Georgetown, Ashley Pollard (Joe) Watauga, TX and Molly Coker (Alex) of Johnsonville; one nephew, Tyler Nease (Claire) of Summerville; numerous great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Lee Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 4, 2024, at Screven Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
