Sandra Barrineau Horvath

Sandra Barrineau Horvath, 60, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 3, 1964, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Aubrey Cleveland “AC” Barrineau and the late Opal Ann Clark Barrineau. Sandra was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church. She embraced family life with a joyful spirit, dedicating her time to creating cherished moments. Whether it was gathering around the table for a meal or playing games, Sandra relished every opportunity to bind her family together through laughter and love. 

Survivors include two children, Kelly Porter of Georgetown and Dwayne Wilder of Andrews; four grandchildren, Haleigh Porter, AJ Porter, Peyton Wilder and Adalynn Wilder; three sisters, Judy Skinner, Amy Mendez (Jorge) and Tammy Bourne (Ronnie) all of Georgetown; a special adopted sister, Melinda Geathers of Georgetown; special nephews, Brandon Sanchez, Landon Sanchez and Alex Mendez; an aunt, Theodosia Weakland of Florida; an uncle, Charles Barrineau of Georgetown; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Shelia Barrineau and Pamela Sanchez; a brother, Darrel Barrineau; a niece, Chelsea Wilder; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Ringel Heights Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
