Robert L. “Bob” Leber, 73, passed away February 24, 2017 in Georgetown, SC.
Bob was born Dec. 11, 1943 in Cleveland, OH. Raised in Euclid, Bob was a former resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Columbia, TN and currently resided in Garden City. He retired from General Motors after 38 years of service. For the past 15 years, Bob enjoyed working for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Minor League Baseball Team. Bob was an avid Cleveland sports fan, loved traveling and casino trips. His outgoing personality, jokes, and puns will be remembered by all who knew him. "See you later alligator...after while crocodile!"
Preceded in death by parents Raymond and Teresa, brothers Michael and Charles and granddaughter Kayla, he is survived by his wife of 53 years Joanne; children Karen (Joe) Alestock, Kim (Steve) Large, Ron Leber and Missy (Ted) Burrow; luckiest grandchildren in the world who love their Papa: Ryan, Emily, Shannon, Corey, Jason, Brady, Luke, Anna and Elias; brother Raymond (Janet) Leber and sister Marilyn (Raymond) Fuerst; and many loving family and friends.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday 4 to 8 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Thursday 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, 44223, Fr. James Singler celebrant. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
