Robert Jaudon Goins

Robert Jaudon “Don” Goins, 68, passed away on April 1, 2016 at his home. Born on April 17, 1947, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Clifton Goins and the late John Emily Wall Goins. Mr. Goins was a member of Bloomingvale Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and cooking. Mr. Goins never met a stranger and enjoyed meeting new people and spending time with his family. Survivors include his companion, Olivia I. Purvis of Lynchburg; four children, Robert J. “Robbie” Goins (Cathy) of Virginia, David J. Goins (Wendy) of Myrtle Beach, James C. “Chad” Goins of Lynchburg and Chase L. Goins of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Taylor Williams, Wesley Goins, Wade Goins, Hunter Goins, Keirston Goins and Brinley Goins; five brothers, Billy Goins, Dale Goins, Tony Goins, Mark Goins and Mike Goins; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, C.E. Goins; and one sister, Judy Nesbitt Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Monday, April 4, 2016 in Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-7 PM at 170 Going St. Georgetown, SC 29440.
