Jamison Parker Johnson, 41, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021.
Born on October 1, 1979, in Myrtle Beach, he was a son of Myra Baker Ranta and the late William F. Johnson. Parker was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, listening to music, cooking and tattooing.
Survivors include his mother and step father, Gilbert Ranta of Pawleys Island; maternal grandmother, Louise Baker of Georgetown; one sister, Callie West of Pawleys Island; one step sister, Rebecca Ranta of Portland, OR; two nephews, Dawson Johnson and Willie West; one aunt, Sara Patton (Tom) of Columbia; five uncles, Gene Baker (Debbie) of Georgetown, Joel Baker (Faye) of Columbia, Art Baker (Jennifer) of Pawleys Island, Chris Baker (Debbie) of Georgetown and RL Port of Pleasant Hill; and numerous cousins and other family members.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Heather Johnson; maternal grandfather, Carrol Baker; paternal grandparents, William Johnson and Gladiola Johnson Brandon; and an aunt, Linda Port.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Thursday, April 1, 2021 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Ted Sherrill officiating.
Due to COVID-19, face mask are required and social distancing will be practiced.
