Nathalee Alma Johnson Richardson, 91, wife of Calvin Richardson, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, at her home. Born on November 4, 1932, in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Johnson and the late Lula Collins Johnson. “Nat” as she was affectionally called, was a cherished member of the Georgetown Church of God for more than 70 years. Known for her unwavering faith and dedication, “Nat” was a devoted reader of her Bible, finding solace in its pages. Her days were often spent in reflection and prayer, lifting up the family and friends to the Lord. “Nat” enjoyed the simple pleasure of life, such as fishing and cooking. Her home was a haven of cleanliness and comfort, a testament to her diligent and caring nature. Above all, “Nat” cherished the time spent with her family. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Calvin Richardson of Georgetown; four children, Paula Lawshe (EW) of Andrews, Calvin Edward Richardson (Karen) of Pawleys Island, Doug Richardson of Georgetown and Kim Standridge of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Tiffany Baker (Paul) of Florence, Justin Lawshe of Andrews, Eddie Richardson of Georgetown, Doug Richardson, II (Brandy) of Georgetown, Dillon Richardson of Georgetown and Caleb Hayes (Lindsay) of Hemingway; 10 great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; one step great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Sherman Standridge; a daughter-in-law, Ann Richardson; numerous brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Georgetown Church of God. Burial will follow in Sampit United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Ministry of Israel, P.O. Box 4431, Cleveland, TN 37320.
