Mildred Anne Lambert Hardee, 79, widow of Lloyd Lee Hardee, Jr., passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at her home. Born on November 26, 1942, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late William Howard Lambert and the late Bessie Marie Thompkins Lambert. Mrs. Hardee was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a part of the Ladies Auxiliary and a former Sunday school teacher. As a nurse for many years, Mrs. Hardee had the privilege to take care of countless patients and did so with great love and compassion. Aside from being a nurse, she also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include three children, Stacy Hardee (Ramona) of Andrews, Samuel Hardee (Gwendolyn) of Georgetown and Jan McGee (Sean) of Spartanburg; five grandchildren, Ryan Hardee (Justin) of Andrews, Katelynn Britt (Robert) of Georgetown, Lee Hardee (Haley) of Andrews, Anna McGee of Spartanburg and Patrick Cox (Kamra) of Andrews; four great grandchildren, Taylor Cox, Luke Cox, Lydia Britt and Ryeitt Britt; two sisters, Marie Zurcher (Hubert) of Georgetown and Ernestine Phillips of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Whitney Hardee Cox; two brothers, William O'Neal Lambert and Randy Howard Lambert; and one sister, Shelby Clement. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 23, 2021, in the Lambert Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8285 Saints Delight Rd.
