Michael Tyrone Moore

Michael T. Moore, 46, husband of Melissa Luanne Leroy Moore, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

Born on January 11, 1973, in Georgetown, he was a son of Lois Dale Cox M. Presutti and the late Eugene B. Moore, Jr. Mr. Moore was a member of Langston Baptist Church in Conway and grew up going to Graves Southern Baptist Church in Georgetown. He was a giving man with big a heart who always knew how to make others laugh. Mr. Moore enjoyed surfing, fishing and most of all being with his family.

Survivors include his wife of North Myrtle Beach; mother of Summerville; five children, Brandon Moore of Moncks Corner, Shyanne Moore of Moncks Corner, Crysa Poteat (Jason) of Forest City, NC, Tiffaney Kirby (Joshua) of Spartanburg and Shane Price of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Lilia Harville of Forest City, NC, Cayden Poteat of Forest City, NC, Augustus Moore of Moncks Corner and Emily Kirby of Spartanburg; one brother, Ronald Moore (Dorene) of Ridgeville; one sister, Kim Rogers (Darrol) of Moncks Corner; great grandmother, Loraine Cox of Georgetown; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Eugene B. Moore, Sr. and Ruby R. Moore; and maternal grandparents, Jasper J. Cox and Retha B. Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, October 4, 2019 at Graves Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Giles and Elder Mike Goude officiating. Entombment will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Graves Southern Baptist Church.
