Mallorie Anastasia Martin, 20, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Born on December 14, 1998, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of Michael Patrick Martin and Myrtie Ivy Smith-Martin. Mallorie lived life to the fullest and enjoyed playing softball and swimming. With a heart of gold and a great personality, Mallorie was always smiling regardless of what she was going through.
Survivors include her mother and father of Georgetown; maternal grandparents, Richard L. Smith and Linda B. Smith of Georgetown; one son, Canaan L. Bone of Georgetown; one sister, Madison Paige Martin of Georgetown; a special uncle and aunt that Mallorie thought of as her second parents, Bosco Martin and Joetta Martin of Georgetown; two other uncles, Richie Smith (Tara) of Macedonia and Alex Smith (Kate) of Georgetown; two aunts, Jerry Nell Martin of Georgetown and Donna Hall (David) of Conway; one special great aunt, Geraldine Griffin (Jesse) of Georgetown; first cousins, Nichole Crosby of Georgetown, Ava Grace Hall of Conway, Kirstin Smith of Georgetown, Katie Sam Smith of Charleston, Marshall Smith of Georgetown and Ridge Smith of Georgetown; cousins, Samantha Stuckey (Raynard) of Georgetown, Raychel Stuckey of Georgetown, Elizabeth Long (John) of Surfside Beach, JW Long of Surfside, Brittany Long of Surfside Beach, Jordyn Long of Surfside Beach, Lovie Long of Surfside Beach, Journey Long of Surfside Beach, Kevin Martin (Debbie) of Conway, Lindsey McDowell (Derrick) of Conway, Payton McDowell of Conway and Emmett McDowell of Conway.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Willie Chap Martin, II and Ernestine S. Martin; great uncle and aunt, Hoyt Martin and Hilda Martin; and a cousin, Kyle Martin.
Funeral services will be held at 3PM Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith with Rev. Jack Todd officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM Saturday in the Fellowship Hall at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith.
