Madison Alaine Shelley, 21, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born on August 21, 1997, in Mt. Pleasant, she was a daughter of Jason Everette Shelley and Jennifer Caroline Morris Shelley. Madison was a member of Georgetown Church of God and attended Andrews Church of God, where she worked with the youth. She was also very active in the Pee Dee Church of God Youth Camp. Madison was a 2015 graduate of Georgetown High School where she played basketball and was employed with Georgetown Kraft Credit Union. Through her sickness Madison never lost her vibrant personality. She was still the bubbly, LOUD laughing, lively Madison everyone knew up until the end.
Survivors include her mother and father of Georgetown; fiancé, Glynn Michael Barrineau of Andrews; paternal grandmother, Jean Coker Shelley of Georgetown; maternal grandparents, HB Morris and Elaine Chastie Morris of Georgetown; two sisters, Meredith Shelley and Molly Shelley both of Georgetown; two aunts, Wendy Woodard (Darrell) and Melanie Parsons (Scott) all of Georgetown; two uncles, Hillary “Bubba” Morris and Kevin Shelley (Pam) all of Georgetown; special cousins, Caroline Goldman (Tyler) of Greenwood, Seth Woodard of Georgetown, Carson Castor (Zack) of Pawleys Island, Shelley Woodard of Georgetown, Grey Parsons of Georgetown, Reed Parsons of Georgetown and Hillary Parsons of Georgetown.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Everette Wayne “Ho Daddy” Shelley; great grandparents, Delbert and Evelyn Coker, Hillary and Estelle Morris, David and Juanita Chastie and Bernice and Thelma Shelley.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Georgetown with Rev. Matt Suttle and Rev. Tommy Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Andrews Church of God.
