Lloyd Lee Hardee, Jr, 82, husband of Mildred Lambert Hardee, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home.
Born on April 14, 1938, in Georgetown, he was the son of the late Lloyd Lee Hardee, Sr. and the late Anzie Thomas Hardee. Mr. Hardee was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a choir member and a member of the men’s group. He was also a member of Wadmacon Hunting Club and was retired from Georgetown Steel Mill. Mr. Hardee was an avid fisherman and had a great love for his family.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mildred Lambert Hardee of Georgetown; three children, Stacy Hardee (Ramona) of Andrews, Samuel Hardee (Gwendolynn) of Georgetown and Jan McGee (Sean) of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Ryan Hardee (Justin) of Andrews, Katelynn Britt (Robert) of Georgetown, Lee Hardee (Haley) of Andrews and Anna McGee of Spartanburg; four great grandchildren, Taylor Cox, Luke Cox, Lydia Britt and Ryeitt Britt; a special brother-in-law, Elvie Lee (Mary) of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Whitney Hardee Cox; and two sisters, Ida Mae Phillips and Annie Jane Rogers.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in the Lambert Cemetery.
