Linda Lenora Ray Sullivan, 61, widow of Danny Lee Sullivan, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2024.
Born on May 17, 1963, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of David Legrand Ray and the late Linda Faye Owens Ray. Mrs. Sullivan was a dedicated hospice nurse with Patriot Hospice. Her compassion, warmth and unwavering commitment to providing comfort to those in their final days were an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a beacon of hope and solace, offering her tender heart to patients and their families.
Outside of work, Mrs. Sullivan found joy in the simple pleasures. She enjoyed her coffee, fishing and relished shopping and crafting. Above all else, Mrs. Sullivan’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted caretaker, always ready with open arms, a listening ear and a heart full of unconditional love.
Survivors include her father of Andrews; one daughter, Danielle Sullivan (Allen Best) of Andrews; three grandchildren, Haven Best, Benji Sullivan and Connor Collins; one brother, David L. Ray, II (Sabrina) of Georgetown; three sisters, Jennifer Ray Newton (Matt) of Piedmont, Deborah Ray Cremer (George) of Anderson and Denise Ray of Georgetown; three nephews, Brandon Ray, Tyler Newton and Lee Cremer; four nieces, Savannah Newton, Addison Newton, Michaela Avant and Brittany Morris (Tyler); two great nephews, James Morris and Richter Newton; one great niece, Ava Morris.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to a hospice organization of one’s choice.
