Lawrence Quinby Whitnauer

Lawrence Quinby “Larry” Whitnauer, 49, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 2, 1968, in Charleston, he was a son of the late John L. Whitnauer, Sr. and the late Retha Mae Cribb Whitnauer. Mr. Whitnauer was raised in Rhems Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a very skilled carpenter and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his fiancée, Tammy Russell of Georgetown; one sister, Sherrell Whitnauer of Macedonia; two brothers, John Whitnauer (Janice) of Georgetown and Franky Whitnauer (Minnie) of Denmark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Hewitt and Merrell Casselman; and two brothers, Richard Whitnauer and Jack Whitnauer.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Ringel Heights Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends following the service.
