Kristopher Baron Cooper, 45, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 29, 1977, in Georgetown, Kris was the son of the late James Baron Cooper, Jr. and the late Tressa Starr Odum Edwards. Kris was an artist and enjoyed making sketches and writing poetry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and children and was a big kid at heart. Kris loved driving fast and thought he was Dominic from The Fast and The Furious. He enjoyed good movies, dancing, and shrimping in the ocean with his dad. Just like his mom, he enjoyed the finer things in life, and, with style, he enjoyed making things look good. Kris had a heart of gold and was always willing to help his friends and family when he could. He would help others when he was not able to help himself and if he was your friend, it was for life.
Kris was very athletic and enjoyed several sports including Karate, baseball, surfing, skateboarding, and cooking. He was one step away from obtaining his black belt in Karate. Kris dreamed of having his own Karate center but was never able to achieve that goal. Unfortunately, his life ended before he could accomplish his dreams. He was loved by all that knew him and will be dearly missed.
