Kerry Terry, Sr.

Kerry Levon Terry, Sr., 62, husband of Jan Rogers Terry, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at this home.

Born on April 26, 1962, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Shirley Ann Lambert Gailey and the late Robert Lee Terry. Kerry was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church and was known for his love of nature and his passion for fishing and camping, which he shared generously with family and friends throughout his life.

Survivors include his wife of Conway; two children, Kathy McPherson (Andy) and Kerry Terry, Jr.; one grandchild, Summer Smith (Colton) ; one great grandchild, Levi Smith; step children, Cathy Shannon and John Taylor; one sister, Patricia Ward (Leroy); one brother, Ron Terry, Sr.; two step brothers, Bobby Terry and Dallas Gailey (Brenda); three step sisters, Tammy Little, Sharon Lloyd and Teresa Davis (David); his fur baby, Prissy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maggie Marie Barrineau Terry; stepfather, Thomas Gailey; a brother, Charlie Irwin; and a sister-in-law, Karen Terry.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in the Holmes Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Tuesday at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church.
