Joshua Colby Rogers

Joshua Colby “Josh” Rogers passed away at his home on Monday, March 7, 2016. Josh was born in Bamberg, SC and spent his childhood in Summerton, SC. After moving to Athens, GA, Josh accepted Christ into his life in February 2015. He developed a close relationship with the Lord and was passionate about spreading the gospel. This new found love created a new excitement in his life. He was outgoing and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He had a heart of gold and was truly one of a kind. He loved his family more than anything in this world, and his daughter was the love of his life. He will be missed but never forgotten. He is survived by his loving parents, Terry and Susan Thompson Rogers of Summerton, SC; a precious daughter, Skylar; brothers, Terry Allen Grady Rogers (Alana) and Benji Morgan Rogers (Cindy); and a sister, Sabrina Hanna Rogers Michau (Woody). The family will hold a memorial service in his loving memory at 1 PM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Barwick Clubhouse on Bacon Hill Rd. in Pinewood.
