Jonathan Patrick Moore

Jonathan Patrick Moore, 34, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at his home. Jon was born on June 20, 1988, in Charleston, a son of Henry Singleton Moore, IV and the late Cherrin Ell Mundy Moore. He was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church and was a graduate of Georgetown High School where he was in the NJROTC. Jon was very talented and creative and had a great love for video games, especially World of Warcraft. Survivors include his father of Georgetown; three sisters, Melissa Walker (Chris), Catherine Wilson (David) and Mandy Moore (Robbie) all of Georgetown; two nephews, Gavin Walker and Maddox Wilson both of Georgetown; four nieces, Madison Miller, Braxton Wilson, River Smith and Lilah Smith all of Georgetown; one aunt, Diane Wall (Charles) of Georgetown; one uncle, Michael Moore of Wetkumpka, AL; special cousins, Cal Wall of Georgetown, Josh Wall (Nicole) of Georgetown, Seth Wall of Georgetown and Jenna Cox (Matt) of Nashville, TN; and numerous other special family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry S. Moore, V; niece, Claire Walker; paternal grandparents, Lillian Moore and Henry S. Moore, III; and maternal grandparents, Mildred Mundy and James Mundy. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 9, 2022, at St. Mary, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church Parish Hall.
