Jessica Renee' Elliott

Jessica Renee’ Elliott, 39, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Jessica was born on November 7, 1985, in Charleston, the daughter of John Henry Elliott, Jr. and the late Zeta Kathryn Blake Elliott. She graduated from Socastee High School and attended Horry Georgetown Technical College. Jessica sought joy in every moment and possessed a remarkable ability to find beauty in the simplest of things. She was a passionate explorer, always eager to embark on her next adventure and her love for the great outdoors was unmatched, whether she was spending time on the water or hunting 

Jessica had an eye for hidden treasures, often rummaging through clearance racks, looking for a good deal. She had a love of collecting knives and guns and always enjoyed traveling. Jessica had a heart that was full of love and her heart was always anchored at home, with her beloved family. Jessica's family was her greatest pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent in their company, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Jessica leaves behind a family who adored her, friends who admired her, and a world that was brighter because of her presence.

Survivors including her father of Myrtle Beach; two uncles, Randy Elliott (Polly) of Georgetown and Acie Verlon Blake, Jr. of Myrtle Beach; two special great uncles, Eddie Elliott (Sharon) of Georgetown and Billy Elliott (Barbara) of Lexington, KY; one aunt, Vera Ann Blake of Myrtle Beach; four special great aunts, Jennifer Harrelson (Donnie) of Georgetown, Susan Turner of Andrews, Agnes McCaw of Suffolk, VA and Bonnie Michau of Georgetown; special cousins, Otis Elliott, Caroline Brooks, Moriah Baxley, Zoe Baxley and Byron Blake; her special babies, Hazel Elliott, McCoy Elliot and Rip McKuhen; and numerous other cousins and close friends.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John Henry Elliott, Sr. and Linda Faye Elliott; and maternal grandparents, Nelda Jane Blake and Acie Verlon Blake, Sr.; an uncle, Brian Elliott; an aunt, Virginia Oyster; and numerous great aunts and great uncles. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Harristown Full Gospel Holiness Church, 2217 Harristown Rd. St. Stephens, SC 29479. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Calvary Original Free Will Baptist Church, 1663 N. Fraser St. Georgetown, SC 29440 and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
