Janet Bellflower Ray Lambert

1934 — February 6, 2020

Janet Bellflower Ray Lambert, 85, widow of Charles Lambert, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Born on October 16, 1934, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Grover Lee Bellflower and the late Mary Ethel McCormick Bellflower. Mrs. Lambert attended Sampit Pentecostal Holiness Church and managed Lambert Trucking. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting and going to yard sales. Survivors include one son, Ronny Ray of Pawleys Island; five grandchildren, Christopher Ray of Georgetown, Schyler Ray of Pawleys Island, Brandon Ray (Annette) of Conway, Justin Ray of Conway and LeeAnn Ray Martina of Murrells Inlet; four great grandchildren, Caitlin Ray, Cassy Ray, Izzy Ray and William Ray; a special niece Sherhal Bone (Ricky) of Georgetown; and two nephews, Michael Wallace of Georgetown and Darrell Wallace of Murrells Inlet. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Ray; two sons, Kerry Ray and Randy Ray; and one sister, Barbara Bellflower Wallace. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Monday, February 10, 2020 at First Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
