James Lee Ellerbe

James Lee Ellerbe, 38, husband of Kimberly Langley Ellerbe, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at his home.

Born on August 6, 1981, in Dillon, he was a son of Velva Tyson Ellerbe and Thomas D. Ellerbe. Mr. Ellerbe was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church and was employed with Ard Timber. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of Andrews; mother of Georgetown; father of Apex, NC; two children, Bradley James Ellerbe and Kailey Madison Ellerbe both of Georgetown; two step children, Holden Lockliear and Mikayla Lockliear both of Andrews; two sisters, Angel Goude (James) of Georgetown and Elizabeth Ellerbe of NC; three brothers, Thomas "TJ" Ellberbe (Allison) of Myrtle Beach, Tyson Ellerbe (Krystal) of Georgetown and Alex Ellerbe (Kristina) of Monroe, NC; maternal grandmother, Verline Tyson of Georgetown; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank "Bo" Tyson; and paternal grandparents, Luke and Dot Ellerbe.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Friday, September 27, 2019 at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. Dora Gafford officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
