Grace Wiggins Brock, 59, beloved wife of James Donald “Jim” Brock, Jr, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at her home.
Born on May 25, 1962, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of Alton Wiggins and Betty Kelly Wiggins. Grace was a graduate of Winyah High School and the University of South Carolina, where she majored in journalism. She was a member of First Baptist Church and for many years was active in the music ministry where she sang in the choir and was a soloist. She was involved in founding the Heritage Festival, in the leadership of the Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Arts and helping Georgetown reach its status as one of the Best Small Towns in America. Even though she loved living at the beach, her heart was in the mountains. Her love of cooking and animals will remain with her friends.
