Ed Causey

Ed Causey 73, of Summerton S.C., passed away Sept 10, 2024. Born on June 26, 1951, in Mullins, S.C. to Roland and Addie Mae Causey. Ed dedicated 39 years to the paper mill in Florence S.C. where he was a well-respected Foreman in the Power Plant. Anyone who knew Ed knew of his love for his family. He and Renee, his wife of 29+ years loved to fish and do home improvements and known to tear up the dance floor. He was preceded in death by his parents and baby sister Wendy DeWitt. Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Renee, and precious dog Brindle of the home; sisters, Judy (Malcolm) Barton, Wanda (Tommy) Bryson, and Nancy (Doug) Vick; daughters, Dawn (Mitchel) Lewis and Nikki (Donnie) Berry; two stepsons, BJ and Adam Kelley; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. There will be an interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donate to your local animal shelter.
