Doris Juanita Nobles Causey, 83, widow of James Theo Causey, Sr., passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Born on February 17, 1934, in Horry County, she was a daughter of the late Bud Olin Nobles and the late Lorena Allen Nobles. Mrs. Causey was a member of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Theo and three brothers, David, Julian and Bud. She is survived by her 5 children and their spouses, Jim and June Causey, Sylvia and Bob McConnell, Sue and Jimmy Douglas, Jerry and Melody Causey and Sheryl and Alan Graham, her sixteen grandchildren, Travis and Amber Douglas, Kirk and Stephanie McConnell, Jared and Cherrel Causey, Paul and Suzanne Causey, Trevor and Allison Douglas, David and Nola Causey, Matthew and Michelle Graham and Stuart and KayCee Graham and her fourteen great grandchildren, Trenton, Brayden, Ethan, Alyssa, Will, Landon, Shannon, Evan, Alex, Eli, Micah, Titus, Emsley and Adeline, her brothers Elmon, Bonnie and Wendall and sisters Kathleen and Maude.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church.
