Donald Jefferson Weavil

Donald Jefferson Weavil, 70, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.

Mr. Weavil was born on November 11, 1953, in Georgetown. He was a son of the late Howard Weavil and the late Rebecca Jane Ward Cooper. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include six brothers, John Cooper (Gigi) of Georgetown, Jessie Cooper (Theresa) of Georgetown, David Weavil of Georgetown, Jim Hammond (Wanda) of Georgetown, Daniel Weavil (Edith) of Tennessee, and Ray Hammond (Linda) of Georgetown; two sisters, Nancy Wilson of Georgetown and Nina Ray (George) of Georgetown; a special niece, Courtney Cooper Bingham (John) of Florence; four grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Weavil; a daughter, Annette Weavil Stewart; his mother and stepfather, Jessie James Cooper; and his father and stepmother Lee Weavil.
