Donald Ray Poston, Jr.

Donald Ray Poston, Jr., 53, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on February 19, 1969, in Georgetown, he was the son of Patricia A. Poston and the late Donald R. Poston, Sr. Mr. Poston had a great love for being on the water and worked as a commercial fisherman. Survivors include his mother of Georgetown; one daughter, Jessica Poston (Bryan Poston) of Kingstree; three grandchildren, Rowan Poston, Elijah Poston and Lucas Poston all of Kingstree; two sisters, Tammy Poston (Barry Dean) of Georgetown and Lorra Hammond (Bobby) of Georgetown; two nephews, Cody Hammond and Colten Hammond both of Georgetown; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by the mother of his daughter, Tina Lambert. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
